20th. Dec. 2015, all the societies of Greater Faridabad Area collectively decided to stage a massive protest against Administration, HUDA and Town & Country Planning department for their inability and laxity to provide basic amenities in the area.
A meeting was conducted on 21stNov. 2015 at SRS Chowk which was participated by executives of RWA's of all the societies and decided to jointly fight for right of the residents.
Following Points are discussed:
1. Demand back our EDC and IDC money from Govt. More than Rs 5000 Cr. has been collected by DGTCP as EDC, EEDC and IDC but still not even 10% has been utilized to develop this area. Residents decided to demand back their money and form a residents committee to develop the infrastructure themselves.
2. As on date more than 10000 families are residing in various societies of Greater Faridabad and more than 25000 flats constructed and offered for possession. But there is no Sewage Lines/ Sewage Treatment Plans, NO Drinking Water Supplies, NO Solid Waste Disposal, No Proper roads/ bridges, No Public Transport Facilities, No Electrical Substations, No Healthcare Facilities, No Fire Stations, No Proper Police Stations.
Due to the above reasons, many of the flat owners hesitate to start residing in Greater Faridabad Area and still living outside on rents.
3. There are a lot of complaints against Poor Constructions, Delayed Possessions, Arm Twisting and Extortion by builders, but no action has been taken by the administration and authorities against said complaints.
Also more than 100 FIR's were lodges with the police against the builders but there is no action on the Builders.
Also, CM Haryana has constituted Buyers Grievances Committee since last 4 months and there is no progress of the committee with regard to complaints of various buyers.
4. It is also interesting to note that, a lot of complaining has been done by the Government Officers to participate in the activities of smart city project and got filled forms from the buyers, but Greater Faridabad Area does not falls under Smart City Development Plan, because entire are is not under the MCF Boundary.
On Name of Smart City, Political Leaders and Administration making fool of greater Faridabad residents.
Seeing this irony, all the societies of Greater Faridabad untidily decided not to participate in any activity related to Smart City Project and demand back EDC/ EEDC and IDC which is not utilized for the development of area for the last 9 Years.
It is also decided by the representatives of various societies, that they are going to take legal actions against the concerned departments and its officers for various irregularities in providing Occupation Certificates and approvals to the builders by violating various Rules/ Laws/ Acts.
